The Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) is advancing toward acquiring land for an innovative residential project, featuring both low and high-density housing options in New Chandigarh (Mullanpur). The comprehensive Social Impact Survey (SIS) of the targeted land area has recently been successfully concluded.
Following the completion of the SIS, GMADA is poised to initiate the process of sending acquisition notices to landowners. GMADA officials have highlighted the uniqueness of this scheme, emphasizing that it will offer larger plot sizes in the low-density segment, resulting in a reduced population density compared to traditional residential projects.
